Samenvatting
Bulimia nervosa wordt gekenmerkt door eetbuien en compensatoir gedrag. In de praktijk wordt het stoppen met compenseren vaak als doel gezien van de boulimiebehandeling. Stoppen met compenseren kan echter ook goed als interventie worden ingezet. In deze notitie uit de praktijk zal deze interventie aan de hand van een casus worden besproken.
Summary
Bulimia nervosa is characterized by binge-eating and compensatory behavior. In practice, quitting compensatory behavior is considered to be an aim in the bulimia treatment. Nevertheless, quitting compensatory behavior can also be used as an intervention. In this article this intervention will be discussed by means of a case.
